At SEEDs for Autism, we are happy to provide organized recreational activities in a structured, supportive environment where participants can engage with their peers, cultivate new experiences and have FUN!

For those on the autism spectrum, this 3 ½ hour workshop provides a unique opportunity to express themselves creatively and explore their talents while practicing social skills. Sharing this popular area of interest with peers creates a positive, encouraging environment of connection and friendship.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Participants will learn elements of visual storytelling and develop communication skills as they rotate through this exciting 3 part workshop! Our team of artists and experienced professionals are excited to help you explore your talents and discover new ones!

Comics

Participants will explore the world of comics and learn about visual storytelling and communication while engaging in interactive creative exercises with their peers. Flex your imagination, create your own comic and learn to tell stories panel by panel!

Pop-Art Painting

Painting relieves stress, enhances our ability to concentrate and helps develop fine motor skills.  Create iconic comic book art using paint, canvas and your imagination! Our instructors will guide you step by step as you turn words into art using color to express emotion!

Stop-Motion Animation:

Technology offers new methods of sharing ideas, telling stories and communicating with others. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes journey into the exciting world of stop-motion animation and utilize a variety computer skills, lighting and equipment to animate LEGOS in this high tech adventure!
